The series is comprised of photographs that appeared in published forum in the 1990 Northwestern University annual, the Syllabus (Volume 106). It includes most of the photographs published in that volume.
The Syllabus should be consulted as an aid to finding and identifying specific photographs. It also serves as an index to the identities of the individuals responsible for taking the photographs.

The photographs are arranged into folders sequentially according to the page number of the Syllabus on which they appear.
Method of Acquisition
The office of the Syllabustransferred these photographs to the University Archives on February 15, 1995 (Accession #95–26).
