Scope and Contents
In 1957, Gertz played a central role in organizing a Chicago-wide celebration of the centennial of Clarence Darrow’s birth. This series consists of letters to and from Gertz as he solicited stories and material for exhibits and presentations related to the centennial. Arranged alphabetically for the most part, and also includes a scrapbook of correspondence arranged by Gertz chronologically.
