Pilch letter of March 30, 1948, withdrawing all CTU proposals pursuant to Judge Luther Swygert's order of March 27, and asking for new negotiations. O'Keefe reply of March 31, 1948, confirming the withdrawal of all proposals by both parties. Instructions issued by International Typographical Union to locals on handling the injunction, March 31, 1948. Draft of a new Chicago Newspaper Publishers Association CNPA proposal eliminating bogus typesetting, made formally on May 12, 1948. Rejection by Pilch on May 25, 1948.
