  • Envelope "13" labelled "Final accounting," containing: Final accounting (April 1902); trustees' receipt for 1,050 shares of Tribune stock; original authorizations from Katharine McCormick and Elinor Patterson for the executors to lend $300,000 to the Tribune "for the completion of its new building" (February and March, 1902); signed power of attorney from Katharine McCormick (1902); statement of executors' account with Elinor Patterson (1901-1902)
  • Document "14" consisting of Arthur Young's report on the Medill estate for the year ending June 30, 1907
  • Robert S. McCormick's copy of a letter to W.G. Beale authorizing an increase in Beale's compensation from $2,500 to $5,000 a year (November 4 [or December 7?] 1907). Also a receipt from Samuel T. Chase for a premium on R.S. McCormick's life insurance (February 5, 1907)
