General

There are two special sections with the date 1897-06-10, both of 8 pages. (It is possible that these were included with the regular issue of the Tribune of the same date.) The cover of one section is headed "The Chicago Tribune's Golden Jubilee, June 10, 1847 - June 10, 1897" and shows a woman blowing a trumpet; the cover of the other is a painting showing scenes from Chicago's history, and is headed "Golden Jubilee edition. The Chicago Tribune is 50 years old to-day".
