The Chicago Tribune published 6 separately-identified editions (some with two different headlines) reporting the election results of 1948-11-03. (Details of the publication of this day's newspaper are in the "General" folder.) The headine "Dewey defeats Truman" appeared only in some issues of the "City ** Home" edition.
