Biographical / Historical
Frederick Dent Grant was a civil engineer, army officer, and police commissioner, and the United States minister to Austria-Hungary (1889 to 1893). He was the son of United States President Ulysses S. Grant and Julia Grant. He lived from 1850 to 1912.
