Biographical / Historical
Ernest Miller Hemingway was an American author (best known for The Sun Also Rises, A Farewell to Arms, For Whom the Bell Tolls, The Old Man and the Sea) and journalist who lived from 1899 to 1961. He won the 1953 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and 1954 Nobel Prize in Literature. He lived from 1899 until his suicide in 1961.
