The letter to Col. McCormick of 1930-11-08 refers to a map published in the Tribune 1930-11-08, which was essentially a reproduction of the map included in this folder, but with roads printed in red represented instead by a dotted line. This made the indication of the two-lane stretches of Roosevelt Road difficult to distinguish from the segments to be widened. The folder also includes correspondence about the opening of Augusta Street

Most of this material is various maps and plans, but the series includes some related correspondence and other notes, and illustrations of a proposed remodeling of the house at Cantigny.
