The letter to Col. McCormick of 1930-11-08 refers to a map published in the Tribune 1930-11-08, which was essentially a reproduction of the map included in this folder, but with roads printed in red represented instead by a dotted line. This made the indication of the two-lane stretches of Roosevelt Road difficult to distinguish from the segments to be widened.
