Stars and Stripes Trophy vase
Scope and Contents
The 12th General Hospital's baseball team, the Red Birds, won the Stars and Stripes Trophy vase in the Oran baseball league. The vase is amphora style with two handles shaped like animal heads and decorative engraving. The body is engraved with text reading: "The Stars and Stripes / Trophy / 12th General Hospital / Red Birds / Oran Base Ball League." In the center of the reverse body is a engraved human figure, possibly in North African dress. 35 cm tall.
