Biography

Dr. David E. Boyce has been an adjunct professor of civil engineering at Northwestern University since 2004 after retiring from a position as director of the Urban Transportation Center at the University of Illinois in Chicago in 2003. His research is primarily focused on metropolitan transportation and land use planning and urban travel and location forecasting models. He received his PhD in 1965 from the University of Pennsylvania in Regional Science and was formerly the president of the Regional Science Association International (RSAI).
