Abstract
A collection of predominantly music manuscripts and scores with some papers by composer and former Northwestern University School of Music dean, Peter Christian Lutkin.
Arrangement
The collection is arranged into two series: 1. Music manuscripts and scores and 2. Papers. Series 1 is arranged alphabetically by title of work. Series 2 consists of only seven folders of various writing, clippings, programs and other papers.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
Donated by Mrs. Harris Carman Lutkin (daughter-in-law) documented in a memorandum to Jean Kauffman, former music librarian, February 14, 1963 which accompanied the unprocessed collection.
