Addition

 Series
Identifier: Series 11

Scope and Contents

Just after the processing of the initial accessions of the Farrell Papers had been completed, the University Archives received an additional twenty-seven boxes, spanning the period 1957-1985.

Most of the material in the addition, comprising boxes 17 – 23, dates between 1960 and 1980. The addition is organized in four main categories: biographical material, correspondence, teaching files, and publications, with small amounts under additional headings. The most important of the latter (research files-Eastern Europe) contains a substantial amount of original notes and typed reports of Farrell's interviews in Eastern Europe in 1960 (Box 22, Folders 11-12). These form a valuable extension of the material in Box 13, Folders 13-14 in the original accession.
