From the Collection:

The Jean Summers Smith papers date between 1929 and 1932 and fill one box. The papers consist of course materials from Smith's studies at Northwestern. Included are class notes, syllabi, examinations, and research papers largely concerning courses offered by the English Department and the School of Speech. A folder of fragmentary and unidentified Speech course materials completes the series.
