Description: Boxes 1-5
The Faculty Personnel Files comprise five boxes of material, spanning the dates 1972-1978.
Each folder contains one or more of the following items:
1. Computer printout summaries of teacher evaluations filled out by students after the courses were completed.
2. Letters by students to the Dean in praise of a faculty member or letters of formal complaint about a faculty member.
3. Letters between the faculty member and Dean Ellen Corley regarding the teacher's courses, letters of recommendation and other matters.
4. Letters of recommendation written by Dean Ellen Corley on behalf of the faculty member.
5. Resumes and course syllabi of the faculty members.

Arrangement
The files are arranged differently in this Addition than are those of the original series. The original series contains files in one alphabetical sequence. The Addition, which is in the order in which it was received, contains files in six alphabetical sequences arranged by date (1975/1976, 1976/1977, 1977/1978, 1978/1979, 1979/1980, 1980/1981). The Addition contains files from years covered by the original series.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
The Addition was transferred to the University Archives on March 18, 1987, as Accession #87-46, by the Office of the Dean of the University College.

Description of the Addition
This Addition to the Faculty Personnel Files of the Evening Division comprises nine boxes. The files, which are from the period 1975-1981, contain the same information as is found in the files of the original series: summaries of teacher evaluations, letters concerning individual faculty, letters to and from faculty members and Dean Ellen Corley, and resumes and syllabi of faculty members.
