From the Collection:

The Records of the Associate Deans for Academic Affairs of the Kellogg Graduate School of Management fill twenty-three boxes, and span the years 1965 to 1985, with the bulk of the series covering the years 1972-1983. The records reflect the two-year rotation schedule established in 1976, in that they incorporate records of Deans Duncan, Kamien, and Jurius, into one body of records. This series also includes some records dating to Dean Westfall's term. The records are organized into three broad categories: topical files, grants and research, and reading files.

The topical files span the years 1965 to 1982. This category consists of correspondence relating to the academic departments, support service departments, faculty committees, and the various programs adopted by Kellogg. Also included in this category are records of faculty meetings, faculty memos, course and instructor evaluations, and faculty reports.

The grants and research category, spanning the years 1975 to 1979, contains research grant proposals, grants funded, grants pending, grants refused, and inactive grants. Also included in this category are research memos and research policy memos.

The reading files document the day-to-day administration of the office of the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. They span the years 1974 to 1980, and consist mainly of the four Associate Deans' correspondence.
