Conditions Governing Access
There are no restrictions on use of the majority of these materials in the department for research; all patrons must comply with federal copyright regulations. Boxes 93-95 are restricted until 2070, because of the pervasive presence of private financial information. This collection is stored off-site and requires two business days advance notice for retrieval. Physical Description
On receipt, the appointment books were found to be seriously affected by mold and damp. The books were cleaned to the extent possible, and rusted paperclips replaced with new ones

In additional to information written onto the pages, the appointment books contain items stapled or clipped to pages, and loose inserts. These attached or loose items may be clippings, business cards, telephone messages, receipts, mailings, cartoons, correspondence, cocktail napkins, photographs, memoranda, schedules, fortune-cookie inserts, manuscript notes, lists of telephone numbers, travel arrangements, or other materials
