"House in the Woods"
Scope and Contents
The Northwestern University Video Cassette Collection currently contains more than 5000 VHS, Betamax, and U-matic videocassettes documenting university events between the late 1970s and early 2000s, although some earlier footage has been transferred from film. Topics found here include sports, lectures, theatre and music productions, interviews, convocations, ceremonies, and other programs and footage documenting Northwestern students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

Conditions Governing Access
There are no restrictions on use of the materials in the department for research; all patrons must comply with federal copyright regulations. This collection is stored off-site and requires two business days advance notice for retrieval.
