Scope and Contents

This presentation album was prepared for Mrs. Nathaniel Leverone to acknowledge her late husband's gift to Northwestern University. Materials within the album span the dates August 15, 1968, to September, 1969. The album, embossed with Leverone's name and initials on the cover, contains newspaper clippings, press releases, and other announcement of the gift; plans for the new building; photographs; and hand-lettered text commemorating Leverone's generosity. A section titled “Commendations” contains tipped-in letters to Leverone from Northwestern alumni, business associates, and others, congratulating him on his donation.
