Scope and Contents
This series contains biographical material as well as published writings of Albert R. Crews.
Biographical and Personal Material includes general items; newspaper clippings from the Daily Northwestern and other Chicago-area newspapers; "Me: Al Crews," a series of autobiographical sketches; and a travel diary. That diary, dating from 1951, details Crews’ activities with the Protestant Radio Commission.
Published Work consists of the textbooks that Crew wrote, as well as two of his one-act plays, dating from the 1930s and 1940s.
