I wish I could agree with you on the two points on which you think me wrong by I cannot. McKinley's bill being [...] doubtless might be better but it is pretty good. As for reciprocity by treaty and reciprocity by Presidential enactment I still cling to the wise views promulgated by a great statesman of my own state years ago reproduced in 1883 or later.
