Papers relating to charter and by-law amendments, and to the Albright suit opposing them, 1971 - 1975

This collection includes correspondence, memoranda, and communications with legal and financial counsel bearing on measures to deal with the termination on April 1, 1975, of the McCormick-Patterson Trust. These measures were designed to facilitate registration with the SEC, to create a public market for Tribune stock, and to preserve continuity of management.
