Letter from H.G. Bond (New York) to Joseph Medill, 1883-11-23
Scope and Contents
If Bain's dynamo [for an electrified railway] performs as claimed, Leo Daft will want to use it. "I do not think you take the right view, however, of your decision whether or not you want to go into the Chicago Co. The matter is of great moment to me as I want to go to work in our territory. ... If I am satisfied with the trial at Saratoga I think it but fair that you should then see what there is & satisfy yourself whether you want to take any interest or not."
