This collection contains illustrations, books, and scrapbooks from Jessie Gillespie (Willing), an American illustrator, dating from 1860 to 1970. During her illustration career, she used her middle name, Gillespie, as her artist's surname. Because most of her early illustrations were silhouettes, this collection also contains many of the pictures she used as her models.
