Blue paper document No. 624, a decree announcing the retirement (?) of a member of the Mezentsov family to collegiate registrar. Dated November 13, 1802. Written in pencil on the back of the document is the note, "My Grandfather's papers."

Partially handwritten, mostly printed decree, to Fedor Matveevich Mezentsov, awarding him as a nobleman of Poltava, the bronze medal of Vladimir. Dated June 5, 1816.

Handwritten document titled "Testimony" (свидетельство) No. 2904. Decree announcing that the Poltava Spiritual Consistory has heard the petition of landowner and retired major and cavalier, Alexander von Retsenstein on the birth of his daughter Sofiia, Born September 26, 1827 in Konstantinograd district. It seems to be dated April 7, 1839 and signed by priest Ioann Kr...(unintelligible) and Secretary Arvarov (?).

Long handwritten document, "Copy No. 4888," decree tracing the promotions and military career of Nikloai Fedorovich Mezentsov from 1827-1863. Includes information pertaining to his marriage, military exploits, character, decorations and awards. Concludes with a paragraph in different handwriting that could not be made out. Signed illegibly (Avramov?) with the date May 23, 1872.
