General

This is from the Tchamba peoples who call themselves Samba. They are located in the Atlantika mountains on the border between Cameroun and Nigeria. The performer with the death mask is part of a ritual performance that takes place when a dead man's inheritance is divided among his heirs a year or two after his death.
