General

The various stages of this Kamba ear ornament are shown. Several samples were obtained at various stages of development to show how the ornament is manufactured. On the left is a strip of the aluminum. Next, the aluminum is flattened, then cut into a nice shape. The third illustrates the bar after it has been curved and pounded around the engine valve. Fourth, on the right, is the earring in its final stages of filling and refining. The completed earring is about one inch in diameter.
