General
Resort town of Nefta near Algerian border. Oasis---people fly in from all parts of Tunisia and even from Europe to stay in one of the hotels of this resort town. Nefta may be the prettiest oasis town in Tunisia. The bottom of what is called the basket is carpeted with palmtrees and other vegetation. Hills surround the oasis.
