Summer Study Abroad, 1999 - 2000

This addition fills 19 boxes and spans the years 1960-2008, with most of the material dating between 1981 and 2007. The ASG Records consist mostly of agendas, correspondence, and minutes of the organization in general (Box 13 through Box 15, Folders 1-5), the senate (Box 15, Folders 6-10 through Box 19, Folders 1-4), the executive (Box 19, Folders 5-10 through Box 21, Folders 1-3), special committees (Box 21, Folder 4-7 through Box 22), standing committees (Box 23 through Box 26, Folders 1-8), and student group committees (Box 26, Folders 9-16 through Box 29, Folders 1-24).

Organization: General files include mostly candidate platforms (Box 13, Folder 5), Daily Northwestern clippings (Box 13, Folders 5 and 6), constitutions and by-laws (Box 13, Folders 7 and 8), agendas and minutes of the election commission (Box 13, Folders 9 and 10 through Box 14, Folders 1 and 2) and the faculty honor roll (Box 14, Folders 4 and 5). Items within each subseries are arranged alphabetically.

The Senate subseries contain mainly legislation codebooks (Box 15, Folder 10 through Box 16, Folders 1-4) and minutes of senate meetings (Box 16, Folders 5 and 6, Box 17 through Box 19, Folder 1). Items within each subseries are arranged alphabetically.

The Executive subseries include agendas, correspondence and minutes of the executive board (Box 19, Folders 6 and 7), the leadership advisory board (Box 20, Folders 1 and 2), and the student legal services (Box 20, Folder 8 through Box 21, Folders 1 and 2). Items within each subseries are arranged alphabetically.

Box 21, Folders 4-7 through Box 26, Folder 8, contain agendas, correspondence, and minutes of the Special Committees and Standing Committees. Items within each subseries are arranged alphabetically.

The Standing Committees: Student Groups subseries include by-laws, constitutions, and membership lists of student organizations (Box 26, Folder 9 through Box 29, Folder 24). Items within each subseries are arranged alphabetically.

The External Relations of Northwestern University and other American Universities subseries contain mainly agendas, constitutions, and correspondence of the Association of Big Ten Students (Box 29, Folders 25 and 26 through Box 30, Folders 1-10). Items within each subseries are arranged alphabetically.

The External and Community Relations subseries include correspondence, memoranda, and minutes of the Northwestern Community Council (Box 30, Folder 16), the voter registration (Box 31, Folder 2), and the worker's rights consortium (Box 31, Folder 3). Items within each subseries are arranged alphabetically.
