Committees

This addition spans the years 1969 to 1999, with most of the material dating from the 1990s and relating to ASG committees. The addition is organized into the same six subseries as the original series: Organic Documents, Clippings, Membership Records, Minutes and Agendas, Legislation, and Committees.

Seventeen folders contain the records of various committees. Because of the tendency of ASG committees to be fairly ad hoc, records from different committees sharing similar subjects have sometimes been combined. The clippings, membership records, and minutes and agendas are scant. There are however, significant organic documents relating to ASG's history and development. Detailed reports from the tumultuous period of 1969 to 1971 provide the most intriguing moments. The collection of election propaganda and periodic summaries of ASG's goals also offer interesting insights into student life over the years.
