Conditions Governing Access
There are no restrictions on use of the majority of these materials in the department for research; all patrons must comply with federal copyright regulations. Boxes 93-95 are restricted until 2070, because of the pervasive presence of private financial information. This collection is stored off-site and requires two business days advance notice for retrieval. Arrangement
The folders have been rearranged into alphabetical order by the name of the company; if the original folder bore a decimal designation, it is included at the end of the folder caption. The sequential numbers assigned to the new folders reflect the original order. However, it is not clear that the order in which the materials were found has any meaning; the order in which the boxes containing these materials should be examined, was likewise not clear
General
These materials were originally stored in hanging folders (mostly blue; occasionally red). (The second group of subject files was stored in plain folders.) Many of these hanging folders bore captions on their tabs that consist of a decimal number (almost always beginning "23.") plus a brief text (usually the name of a company). (Some of the materials within the folders bore similar markings.) Among these were interspersed folders with only text labels, or no labels at all. Most of these folders appear to come from a different period than the other groups of subject folders
