General

Information taken from the casette labels, without listening to the contents. Information for recordings of events held at the Foreign Correspondents Club of Japan through 1995 has been supplemented with reference to Foreign correspondents in Japan (1998). Forenames have been supplied for some, but not all, persons identified only by surname. Although some are probably in English, most of these may be assumed to be in Japanese. The Jameson papers also contained three empty cassette cases:

  • Cassette case with attached sticky note "Sam, here's a tape of Morita briefing on Sept. 26. Chiaki"
  • Cassette case with liner inscribed for side A: "Kor[ean] music. 1 byul[?]"; for side B: "Kor[ean] music. (1/3)"
  • Cassette case with liner inscribed "King Mei Lin. April 6, 1995"
