Biography

The University College, founded in 1933, became successively the Evening Divisions, 1953-1978; the Division of Continuing Education, 1978-1983; then once again the University College of Continuing Professional Education in 1983. The mission of the School of Continuing Studies (SCS) is to be the lifelong partner of adult learners who seek a superior educational experience at Northwestern University.
