Abstract
Jeff Coney became an official scorer for Northwestern University men’s basketball in 1971; as a Northwestern undergraduate, he served as student manager for men’s basketball from 1970 to 1974. The collection consists of an official National Collegiate Athletic Association basketball score book documenting Northwestern University men’s basketball games dating between December 2, 1972 and December 8, 1973.

Abstract
While a student at Northwestern University (beginning in 1924), Luke A. Johnsons earned a total of seven letters in football, basketball, and baseball. He played football for the Chicago Bears, becoming player-coach, and serving as co-head coadh during World War II. He remained with the Bears until 1968. He pioneered a new way of coaching from the press box, becoming known as the "Press Box Quarterback." Johnsos also served as President of the Johnsos-Coppock printing company. This collection...

Abstract
Sociologist, educator, and university dean and vice president, James P. Pitts (1944- ) received his B.A. in Political Science and M.A., and Ph.D. in Sociology from Northwestern University. His papers fill 7 boxes, and span the years 1961 to 2013. Composed of newspaper clippings, press releases, curricula vitae, correspondences, and published work, the papers contain Pitts' writings, awards, and a scrapbook and jersey from his time at Northwestern.
