College students

This series consists of individual photographs of senior members of the class of 1981. The photographs appeared in the 1981 edition of the Northwestern Syllabus (Volume 97). The photographs are wallet-size, black and white portraits. They are mounted in composite fashion on several oversized cardboard layout sheets. Each layout sheet is identified with a number corresponding to a page number (224-285) of the Syllabus

Two scrapbooks and additional clippings/biographical information document James E. "Jimmy" Johnson's education at the Carlisle Indian Industrial School and at Northwestern University, as well as his football career at both schools.

The Henry Howard Kafer collection is comprised of one photograph, depicting the Northwestern University football team of 1904, garments and other textiles.

The Susan Korman Kahan (1946- ) Papers span the years 1963-1970. The collection contains scrapbooks, correspondence, and memorabilia from her college years.

The papers of tennis star Alfred R. ("Al") Kuhn, Jr. (NU 1956), document the world of competitive tennis, played at a high level, during the 1940s-50s. Papers include biographical material, clippings, programs, and photographs.

Northwestern football star Thomas Welborn Myers was the starting quarterback for the Wildcats in the 1962 season under coach Ara Parseghian. He was named All-American and All-Time All American, and went on to play for the Detroit Lions. His papers include clippings, scrapbooks, photographs, and other materials documentiing Myers' football career.

This scrapbook, containing mainly news clippings and photographs, was compiled by Nancy Ann Meyers Nemeth, wife of Edward Nemeth (left guard on Northwestern's football team), and documents Northwestern's winning participation in the 1949 Rose Bowl football game.

Photographs of Northwestern University related events and individuals made by Evanston's W. B. Nickerson Photo Company are arranged in five boxes. The photographs consist largely of black and white negatives along with a small number of color slides.  The dates of these materials range from the 1940s to the 1970s.

Collection consists of records of the Northwestern University Black Alumni Association (NUBAA), dating from circa 1968 to 2018, including approximately 1.6 linear feet (4 boxes) and 36.3 gigabytes of born-digital files of organization records, photographs, audiovisual recordings, and artifacts.

The Northwestern Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Collection includes plaques, All-American certificates, programs, academic certificates, correspondence, photographs, record logs, and scrapbooks.

The Office of the Registrar student transcript records are contained in one archival box and one microfiche file case. They are composed of microfiche copies of transcripts of Northwestern University undergraduate and graduate students whose last active enrollment in the University occured between 1972 and 1986.

The materials in the Helen Paddock scrapbook date between 1910 and 1915 and document her social, academic, and family life at Northwestern University. Included are photographs, newspaper clippings, dance cards, and other memorabilia.

Eva Jefferson Paterson (1949- ), a graduate of Northwestern University's Weinberg College of Arts and Science class of 1971, is a civil rights attorney. Her collection spans the years 1970-2013 and contains biographical materials, correspondence, interviews, publications, and awards.

Gaspar Perricone played a key role on Northwestern’s winning 1949 Rose Bowl-winning team. The Papers document his football career at Northwestern, with an emphasis on the 1949 Rose Bowl.

Sociologist, educator, and university dean and vice president, James P. Pitts (1944- ) received his B.A. in Political Science and M.A., and Ph.D. in Sociology from Northwestern University. His papers fill 7 boxes, and span the years 1961 to 2013. Composed of newspaper clippings, press releases, curricula vitae, correspondences, and published work, the papers contain Pitts' writings, awards, and a scrapbook and jersey from his time at Northwestern.

The Lawrence Pressman Papers contain 26 boxes encompassing biographic information from Pressman’s schooling at Northwestern University, scripts and related materials collected from his production binders (television, theatre, and film), reviews and publicity, and a selection of artifacts, including awards and a scrapbook of his college years.
