Reports of the Center for Urban Affairs and Policy Research
The Center for Urban Affairs and Policy Research at Northwestern University was founded in September of 1968 with a grant of $700,000 from the Ford Foundation. The bulk of the Center’s research dealt with social policy and its effects on the people, communities, and institutions that utilize it. In September, 1996, the Center’s name was changed to the Institute for Policy Research.

Robert R. McCormick. Bound collections of speeches
Col. Robert R. McCormick delivered a weekly radio address over WGN, and spoke frequently on other occasions. This series consists of collections of printed versions of his addresses (including some typescripts) that have been bound into volumes. His talks cover a wide range of topics, but primarily involve his views on the United States, relations with other countries (including World War II), the Army, and the newspaper business.
