Records of Amazingrace Coffeehouse
The Records of Amazingrace Collective document this Northwestern and Evanston coffeehouse from its beginning during the student strike of May 1970, through its growing success as a top music venue--emphasizing, but by no means limited to, the folk scene--in Scott Hall, then Shanley Pavilion--and its final double life in Evanston and Oregon. Materials include newspaper clippings, correspondence, and posters advertising Amazingrace’s events and performances.

John Walter Beattie served as the Dean of the School of Music at Northwestern from 1934 until his retirement in 1951. The John Walter Beattie Papers are arranged in five main categories: biographical material; correspondence; material related to American Singer; a collection of songs and the related correspondence; and his writings. And addition contains correspondence and concert programs accumulated by Beattie.
Berkeley Folk Music Festival Archive
The archive of the Berkeley Folk Music Festival Archive (held 1958-1970 on the campus of the University of California, Berkeley) consists of some 30,000 items, including photographs of folk artists and groups, general photographs of Festivals, tapes, press clippings, correspondence, publicity information on various performers, posters and flyers. Included are some photographs and posters from other area music festivals.
Black Classical Composers Collection
Edward Clark papers
The collection contains concert programs, lecture notes, biographical materials on Edward Clark and Elisabeth Lutyens, notebooks, photographs, and a certificate of award. There are groups of materials focused on organizations with which Clark was associated, and materials related to Clark's slander lawsuit against composer Benjamin Frankel.
Records of the Concert Management Office
The Concert Management Office at Northwestern University's Bienen School of Music schedules, organizes and facilitates all concerts at the School, including large and small school ensemble concerts, student recitals and guest performances. This collection consists of administrative files for every performance given in a School of Music venue between September 9, 1990 and October 9, 2008.
Marion Bard Corbett music manuscripts and papers
The Marion Bard Corbet music manuscripts consist of all known musical works of the late Marion Bard Corbett (1915-1972), a Northwestern University alumna and Chicago-area composer. Included in this collection are music manuscripts, copies and published music scores, sketches, drafts, notebooks and other papers by Corbett.
Michael Costa correspondence
The Michael Costa correspondence collection is comprised primarily of letters to nineteenth-century Italian-born British conductor and composer Michael Costa (1808-1884) covering his personal and professional life from 1846-1884 and the years following his death until 1909. The collection also includes a few contracts, receipts, documents, photographs and artefacts related to Costa.

Richard Czerwonky music manuscripts and papers
The Richard Czerwonky Music Manuscripts and Papers contains manuscript and published scores of violinist, composer and conductor Richard Czerwonky (1886-1949) as well as a small subset of personal papers, writing and ephemera. Czerwonky was a prolific Chicago-based composer and conductor of German-birth who was active in the early decades of twentieth century and an influential figure in Chicago's classical music scene.
Mario di Bonaventura papers and music scores
The Mario di Bonaventura papers and scores collection consists of correspondence, notes and other papers, programs, sound recordings, marked conducting scores, published scores and books, and music manuscript scores in di Bonaventura’s possession. A small collection of materials related to Italian composer Luciana Berio are also found within this collection.
Grigg Fountain (1918-2016) Papers
Grigg Fountain joined the faculty of Northwestern University's School of Music as professor of Organ and church music in 1961. The Grigg Fountain papers fill one half-size archival box and date from 1961-1986. The bulk of the Papers consist of correspondence, both personal and professional covering the years 1961-73. Also included are one folder each of biographical materials and Northwestern press releases regarding Fountain's music career.
